It is a weak leukotriene B<sub>4</sub> (LTB<sub>4</sub>) receptor antagonist, inhibiting [ GLA ethyl ester is an esterified version of the free acid which is less water soluble but more amenable for the formulation of GLA-<wbr></wbr>containing diets.
