16-<wbr></wbr>phenyl tetranor PGE2 is a metabolically stable synthetic analog of PGE2. 16-<wbr></wbr>phenyl tetranor PGE2 is five times more potent than PGE2 in causing hypotension in dogs (0.1 µg/kg dose). It is comparable to PGE2 in inhibiting histamine-<wbr></wbr>induced bronchoconstriction in conscious guinea pigs.
