3′-Azido-3′-deoxy-5-methylcytidine (Cat No.:I019492) is a potent inhibitor of xenotropic murine leukemia-related retrovirus (XMRV) in MCF-7 cells, with a CC50 value of 43.5 μM. It also exhibits inhibitory activity against HIV-1 reverse transcriptase in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBM), with an EC50 value of 0.06 μM. These properties suggest its potential as an antiviral agent against both XMRV and HIV-1.
