Phenmetrazine is a stimulant with anorectic properties. Structurally, it is an amphetamine analog with the terminal amine incorporated into a morpholine ring. Phenmetrazine has long been used as an appetite suppressant, but the compound is susceptible to abuse. 3-Fluorophenmetrazine is a halogenated phenmetrazine derivative. Halogenated amphetamines are psychostimulatory designer drugs that inhibit the uptake of monoamine neurotransmitters. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.
