3′-Hydroxypterostilbene (Cat No.:475231-21-1), one of the active ingredients in horse bean and rosewood heart, may be effective in treating different types of hematologic malignancies. 3′-Hydroxypterostilbene can effectively inhibit the growth of human colon cancer cells by inducing apoptosis and autophagy, with IC50 values of 9.0µM, 40.2µM and 70.9µM for COLO205, HCT-116 and HT-29 cells, respectively. 3′-Hydroxypterostilbene can inhibit the p70S6K and p38MAPK signaling pathways in the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway, and activate the ERK1/2, JNK1/2 signaling pathways.
