4-Chloro-L-phenylalanine (L-PCPA) is a 5-HT biosynthesis inhibitor. 4-Chloro-L-phenylalanine is also a nonspecific antagonist of both isoforms of tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH1 and TPH2)[1].
