4-Octyl Itaconate(CAT: I019874) is a cell-permeable derivative of Itaconate. Itaconate is known to be an anti-inflammatory metabolite that exhibits immunomodulatory effects. It has been shown to activate the transcription factor Nrf2 (nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2) through the alkylation of KEAP1 (Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1).
