5-Iodoacetamidofluorescein (5-IAF) (Cat.No:I013116) is a fluorescent probe that can be used to label cysteine residues in proteins for detection and purification. It reacts specifically with free cysteine thiol groups, making it a useful tool for studying protein structure and function. 5-IAF is also used in biological imaging to visualize cysteine-rich proteins or molecules.
