6-HAP (Cat No.:I021002) is a novel inhibitor of DNA polymerase reactions. It exhibits strong bactericidal activity against group A Streptococcus and displays antiproliferative effects on various tumor cell lines. Additionally, 6-HAP has shown the ability to protect mice colonized with this bacterium from ultraviolet-induced skin tumors. Through its inhibitory action on DNA polymerase, 6-HAP interferes with DNA replication and can exert its antimicrobial and antitumor effects.
