Acetylcholine iodide (Cat.No:I018000) is a quaternary ammonium salt formed by the reaction of acetylcholine with iodomethane. It is a white crystalline powder used in biochemical research to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and study the effects of acetylcholine on muscle and nerve tissue. Acetylcholine iodide is also used in the development of drugs for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders.
