(Ala13)-Apelin-13 TFA is a potent apelin receptors (APJ) antagonist. (Ala13)-Apelin-13 TFA inhibits gastric motility through vagal cholinergic pathway[1].
(Ala13)-Apelin-13 TFA (1-300 pmol/60 nl; microinjected into the DVC) decreases gastric tone and motility in a dose-dependent manner in rats[1].
