AN3661(Cat No.:I015529)is a potent antimalarial lead compound that targets the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor homolog subunit 3 (PfCPSF3) of Plasmodium falciparum, the parasite responsible for the most severe form of malaria in humans. AN3661 has shown strong inhibitory activity against laboratory-adapted strains of Plasmodium falciparum, Ugandan field isolates, and mice P. berghei and P. falciparum, with average IC50 values of 32nM and 64nM, respectively. AN3661 represents a promising candidate for the development of new antimalarial drugs.
