Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) is a dicarboxypeptidase, it converts inactive Angiotensin I (Ang I) to active Ang II and degrades active bradykinin (BK). Angiotensin-converting enzyme is a potent vasoconstrictor, is often used in biochemical studies[1].
