The YTS 191 monoclonal antibody(CAT: I040804) is a rat–derived IgG2b antibody that specifically targets the mouse CD4 antigen, a 55 kDa glycoprotein expressed on most thymocytes, helper T cells, and subsets of dendritic cells and macrophages. By binding to CD4, YTS 191 interferes with its interaction with MHC class II molecules, making it a valuable tool for depleting CD4⁺ T cells in vivo and studying immune responses in murine models. This antibody has been widely utilized in immunological research to investigate T cell function, autoimmune diseases, and transplant rejection.
