Azoramide (Cat No.: I005538) is a small molecule regulator of unfolded protein response to UPR, which can improve the folding ability of endoplasmic reticulum proteins, activate the ability of ER chaperones, and protect proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum stress response. Azoramide also improves glucose homeostasis in mice with genetic obesity and diet-induced obesity. Treatment with azoramide significantly improved insulin sensitivity and glucose tolerance, as well as β-cell function, in multiple preclinical models of obese mice.
