Benzothiohydrazide(Cat No.:I017559) is an analog of the anti-tuberculosis drug Isoniazid and exhibits anti-tuberculosis activity. It has been shown to have MICs (minimum inhibitory concentrations) of 132 μM and 264 μM against M. tuberculosis wild-type and clinical mutants (IC1 and IC2), respectively. These findings suggest that benzothiohydrazide possesses potential as an anti-tuberculosis agent. Its activity against both wild-type and mutant strains of M. tuberculosis indicates its potential effectiveness in combating tuberculosis infections, including drug-resistant strains.
