Bepridil(Cat No.:R035455), marketed under the trade name Vascor, is an FDA-approved medication for the treatment of angina, a heart condition. It belongs to a new class of calcium antagonists that selectively expand the coronary arteries by inhibiting the calcium ion slow channel. Additionally, Bepridil can also inhibit sodium and potassium ion channels, providing properties similar to class Ia, III, and IV antiarrhythmic drugs. It is primarily used for preventing and treating angina pectoris, but it can also be prescribed for arrhythmia, hypertension, and coronary heart disease.
