BioE-1115 (Cat No.:I017781) is a highly selective and potent inhibitor of PAS kinase (PASK) and casein kinase 2α. It exhibits an IC50 of approximately 4 nM against PASK and around 10 μM against casein kinase 2α. In cellular studies, BioE-1115 reduces PASK phosphorylation and suppresses SREBP activity, a key regulator of lipid metabolism, in a dose-dependent manner. Animal studies demonstrate that BioE-1115 administration leads to the suppression of SREBP-1c target genes, decreased insulin resistance, hepatic and serum triglycerides, and serum glucose levels. BioE-1115 shows potential as a therapeutic agent for conditions involving dysregulated lipid metabolism and insulin resistance.
