BMS-626529(Cat No.:I004631), also known as Temsavir, is a small molecule HIV-1 attachment inhibitor. It selectively binds to the viral envelope glycoprotein gp120, preventing its interaction with the CD4 receptor on host immune cells and blocking viral entry. BMS-626529 has demonstrated potent antiviral activity against a wide range of HIV-1 strains, including drug-resistant variants. It has been studied in clinical trials and shown efficacy in reducing viral load and increasing CD4+ T-cell counts.
