Bromo-PEG2-C2-Boc is a PEG-based PROTAC linker utilized in the synthesis of proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs). This linker consists of a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain connected to a C2 alkyl spacer and a tert-butyloxycarbonyl (Boc) protected amine group. It serves as a flexible bridge between the ligand targeting the protein of interest and the ligand recruiting an E3 ubiquitin ligase. Bromo-PEG2-C2-Boc enables the construction of PROTAC molecules with improved target specificity and cellular activity by facilitating the covalent attachment of ligands.
