Bryostatin 2 (Cat.No:I010689) is a natural macrolide lactone compound derived from the marine invertebrate Bugula neritina. It is a potent modulator of protein kinase C (PKC) activity and has shown promising activity in preclinical studies for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and other conditions. Bryostatin 2 can also activate latent HIV-1, making it a potential therapy for the virus. However, clinical development has been limited by challenges in large-scale synthesis and formulation.
