Buformin (Cat.No:I014885) is an oral antidiabetic drug that belongs to the biguanide class. It works by reducing glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity in the body. Buformin was widely used in the past for the treatment of type 2 diabetes but has since been largely replaced by metformin due to its association with a higher risk of lactic acidosis. It is still available in some countries as a diabetes treatment option.
