Buserelin Acetate (Cat.No:I004579) is a synthetic hormone analog of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), used in the treatment of hormone-dependent cancers such as prostate and breast cancer. It works by initially stimulating the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) from the pituitary gland, followed by a suppression of these hormones leading to reduced levels of estrogen and testosterone. It is typically administered via injection or nasal spray.
