Bz-FVR-AMC(Cat No.:I043059)is a fluorogenic substrate commonly used in enzymatic assays to detect protease activity. It consists of a benzyl group (Bz) attached to a fluorogenic peptide sequence, which is linked to 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC), a fluorescent reporter molecule. Upon cleavage by specific proteases, the AMC group is released, resulting in a measurable fluorescence signal. Bz-FVR-AMC is often used in research to study enzyme kinetics, protease inhibition, and protein degradation pathways. It is especially useful for screening potential therapeutic agents that target proteolytic enzymes in disease processes such as cancer or infections.
