CAM-IN-1 (Cat.No:I013387) is a potent and selective inhibitor of calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII), with an IC50 value of 0.2 µM. CaMKII plays a crucial role in synaptic plasticity and learning and memory processes. CAM-IN-1 has been shown to prevent the induction of long-term potentiation in hippocampal slices and to impair fear memory consolidation in rats. It is a promising tool for investigating the physiological roles of CaMKII and potential therapeutic applications for neurological disorders.
