Chlormezanone is a non-benzodiazepine that is used in the management of anxiety. Chlormezanone is a skeletal muscle relaxant, acting at the benzodiazepine site of GABAA receptors. Chlormezanone is a substrate of GABA receptor. It has been suggested for use in the treatment of muscle spasm.
