Cinepazide Maleate (MD-67350) is a piperazine derivative and acts as a weak calcium channel blocker. Cinepazide Maleate is a potent vasodilator and can be used for the research of cerebrovascular diseases, including ischemic stroke, brain infarct et. al[1].
Cinepazide Maleate (intravenous injection; 30 mg/kg) potentiates the vertebral vasodilator response of dogs to intravertebral adenosine and cyclic AMP, while cinnarizine reduces their vasodilator effects[1].Cinepazide Maleate (intravertebral injection; 1-10 mg/kg) increases vertebral blood flow in a dose-related manner in dogs[1].
