Decloxizine dihydrochloride(CAT: I001175) is a histamine 1 receptor antagonist. It is also known by other names such as UCB-1402 and NSC289116. As a histamine 1 receptor antagonist, decloxizine dihydrochloride blocks the effects of histamine at H1 receptors, thereby reducing the allergic response mediated by histamine. It is commonly used to relieve symptoms associated with allergies, such as nasal congestion, itching, sneezing, and watery eyes.
