Deltaline is a diterpenoid alkaloid and isolated from plants of the genus Delphinium delavayi Franch. Deltaline itself has analgesic properties, and plants of the genus Delphinium delavayi Franch have also been therapeutically used to treat rheumaticpain, paralysis due to stroke, rheumatoid arthritis[1].
