Dichloramine-T (also known as N-chloro-p-toluenesulfonamide sodium)(Cat No.:I014333)is a chemical compound primarily used as a disinfectant and antiseptic. It is commonly employed in the treatment of water, as well as in veterinary applications for the prevention and treatment of bacterial infections in fish. Dichloramine-T works by releasing chlorine, which has strong antimicrobial properties, killing bacteria and other microorganisms. It is also utilized in laboratory settings for its ability to decontaminate surfaces and equipment. Despite its effectiveness, care must be taken when using it due to its corrosive and irritant nature.
