Diclofenac(CAT: I001913) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever. Diclofenac works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause inflammation and pain. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and menstrual cramps. It may also be used to manage pain after surgery or injury.
