DOTA tert-Butyl ester（Cat No.:I000869） is a benzyl derivative of cyclic torsemide. It can undergo direct nitration, but incorporating the nitro group after deprotection using lithium aluminum hydride (LAH) is a more convenient method. This approach allows for greater control over the nitration process. By first deprotecting the tert-butyl ester with LAH, the resulting compound can be readily nitrated, providing a more efficient and practical route for introducing the nitro group into the DOTA molecule.
