DpC (Di-2-pyridylketone 4-cyclohexyl-4-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazone)(CAT: I040959) is a potent anti-tumor agent that inhibits cancer cell proliferation with an IC₅₀ range of 0.007–0.096 μM. As a second-generation thiosemicarbazone, it disrupts metal ion homeostasis, inducing oxidative stress and apoptosis in cancer cells. DpC has demonstrated synergistic effects with multiple anti-cancer therapeutics, enhancing treatment efficacy. It is under investigation for its broad-spectrum anticancer potential, including neuroblastoma and drug-resistant tumors. Suitable for biochemical, cellular, and preclinical studies, DpC is a promising tool for cancer research and drug discovery. For research use only; not for human or clinical applications.
