Dydrogesterone (CAT: I001897) is a synthetic progestin hormone with a similar structure and activity to the naturally occurring hormone progesterone. It is used in hormone replacement therapy and for the treatment of various gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and infertility. Dydrogesterone helps maintain the lining of the uterus and supports pregnancy in cases of progesterone deficiency. It has a progestational effect on the endometrium, while its androgenic and estrogenic activities are minimal.
