EGF816 S-enantiomer (Cat No.: I001871) is a selective mutant-specific inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), developed for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR mutations, particularly T790M resistance mutations. As the S-enantiomer, it represents the stereoisomer with higher biological activity and selectivity. EGF816 binds irreversibly to the mutant EGFR, blocking downstream signaling pathways that drive cancer cell proliferation. It has shown promise in overcoming resistance to first- and second-generation EGFR inhibitors and is studied in targeted cancer therapy research.
