Etofylline (7-(β-Hydroxyethyl)theophylline) is a N-7-substituted derivative of Theophylline. Etofylline is a bronchodilator which can be used for the research of asthma. Etofylline is also an anticholesteremic and reduces total cholesterol level in the blood[1][2].
