ETP-47799 is a potent CDK8/19 inhibitor with IC50 values of 2.9 nM and 14.1 nM for CDK8 and CDK19, respectively. ETP-47799 stimulates Mediator recruitment of RNA Pol II. This effectively hyper-activates enhancers and stabilizes the transcriptional program of naïve pluripotent cell identity.
