(+/-)-((Exo, RS), RS) Biperiden hydrochloride (Cat No.:C000912) is a pharmaceutical compound used to treat Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. It is a racemic mixture of (exo, RS) and (endo, RS) stereoisomers. Biperiden hydrochloride is an anticholinergic drug that acts by blocking acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system, reducing abnormal muscle contractions and tremors. It is commonly administered orally or by injection. As a chiral compound, it exists as both enantiomers, each with different pharmacological properties.
