FMK 9a(Cat No.:I013678) is a small molecule inhibitor of autophagic-1, an enzyme involved in the regulation of autophagy. It inhibits autophagic-1 with IC50 values of 80 and 73 nM in fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) and luciferase release assay (LRA), respectively. FMK 9a is cell-permeable and can penetrate the blood-brain barrier, making it a potential therapeutic agent for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease.
