Fmoc-Val-Cit-PAB-PNP is a cleavable linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). The linker consists of an N-terminal Fmoc group, a valine-citrulline dipeptide, a para-aminobenzyloxycarbonyl (PAB) spacer, and a p-nitrophenyl (PNP) leaving group. The PAB linker is cleaved by lysosomal enzymes, releasing the drug payload from the antibody.
