Folinic acid calcium (Cat No.:I001836) is the calcium salt of folinic acid, which is a form of folic acid. Folinic acid calcium is used as a medication and a nutritional supplement. It is commonly prescribed as an adjuvant therapy in cancer treatment, particularly for colorectal cancer and other malignancies. Folinic acid calcium is also used to counteract the toxic effects of certain chemotherapy drugs, such as methotrexate, by providing an active form of folate that helps protect healthy cells.
