Fosmanogepix（Cat No.:I017638）is a prodrug of manogepix, an antifungal agent that targets fungal cell wall synthesis by inhibiting the enzyme 1,3-β-D-glucan synthase. It is effective against a broad range of fungi, including Candida species, Aspergillus, and Cryptococcus. Fosmanogepix is rapidly converted to manogepix in the body, making it suitable for intravenous administration. Its mechanism of action interferes with the integrity of the fungal cell wall, leading to cell death. This compound is being investigated for the treatment of invasive fungal infections, especially in immunocompromised patients.
