FPL 62064(Cat No.:I017261) is a potent dual inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) and cyclooxygenase (COX), two enzymes involved in inflammatory processes. It has demonstrated significant anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting the production of both leukotrienes (mediated by 5-LOX) and prostaglandins (mediated by COX). With IC50 values of 3.5 μM and 3.1 μM for inhibiting 5-LOX and COX, respectively, FPL 62064 holds promise as a therapeutic agent for conditions characterized by excessive inflammation.
