GLPG2451 (Cat No.: I019035) is a potent and selective cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) potentiator. It has been shown to effectively enhance the activity of the F508del CFTR mutant at low temperatures, with an EC50 of 11.1 nM. This makes GLPG2451 a promising candidate for the treatment of cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder characterized by abnormal transport of chloride and other ions across epithelial membranes, leading to thick, sticky mucus that clogs the lungs and other organs.
