H-151 (CAT: I019354) is a potent and selective antagonist of STING (Stimulator of Interferon Genes), a key protein involved in the innate immune response. H-151 acts by covalently binding to STING, effectively inhibiting its activity. It has demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on STING in cellular and in vivo models. STING is responsible for initiating the production of interferons and other immune response factors in response to viral or bacterial DNA, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. H-151’s selective and potent inhibition of STING makes it a promising candidate for the development of therapies targeting STING-mediated immune responses.
