HaXS8 is a dimerizer that can promote a covalent and irreversible intracellular dimerization of HaloTag and SNAP-tagged proteins of interest. HaXS8 does not interfere with PI3K/mTOR signaling[1][2].
HaXS8 promotes intracellular dimerization of Halo-GFP and SNAP-GFP fusion proteins reached >65%, and displays significant intracellular dimerization as low as 50 nM in HeLa cells[1].
HaXS8 (0.5 μM; 40 min) induces a rapid and efficient cross-linking of the membrane anchor and the iSH2 construct, and triggers the activation of the downstream targets PKB/Akt and mTOR in HEK293 cells[1].
HaXS8 (0.5 μM; 40 min) does not upregulate MAPK phosphorylation in HEK293 cells[1].
HaXS8 (0.5 μM; 1 h) does not interfere with PI3K/mTOR signaling in HEK293 cells[1].
