hDHODH-IN-1 is a human dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (hDHODH) inhibitor. hDHODH-IN-1 has anti-inflammatory effect[1].
Human dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (hDHODH) is a class-2 dihydroorotate dehydrogenase. Because DHODH is required to ensure proliferating-cell viability, inhibitors have been developed to eliminate human DHODH (hDHODH) activity, which is associated with cancers, multiple sclerosis, and autoimmune and inflammatory diseases[1].
