Hibifolin(CAT: I028763), also known as quercetin 3-O-arabinoside, is a flavonol glycoside with potential neuroprotective properties. It has been found to prevent beta-amyloid-induced neurotoxicity in vitro, specifically in cultured cortical neurons. This suggests that Hibifolin may have a protective effect against neurodegenerative diseases associated with beta-amyloid accumulation, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Additionally, Hibifolin has been identified as a potential inhibitor of adenosine deaminase, an enzyme involved in purine metabolism.
