I-BET762 (CAT: I001045) is a potent and selective inhibitor of the bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) family of proteins, which play a key role in the regulation of gene expression. It binds to the bromodomains of BET proteins, preventing their interaction with acetylated lysines on histones and leading to the downregulation of genes involved in cancer cell growth and survival. I-BET762 has shown promise as an anti-cancer therapeutic, with preclinical studies demonstrating efficacy against a range of hematological and solid tumors. Clinical trials have also been conducted in patients with advanced solid tumors, although further research is needed to fully evaluate its potential as a cancer treatment.
