IDO-IN-4 (CAT: I002109) is a potent inhibitor of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1), an enzyme involved in the catabolism of the essential amino acid tryptophan. By inhibiting IDO1, IDO-IN-4 helps to prevent the conversion of tryptophan into kynurenine, which is associated with immunosuppression and tumor immune evasion. IDO1 inhibition is of interest in cancer immunotherapy as it can enhance the anti-tumor immune response. IDO-IN-4 has demonstrated high potency, with an IC50 of 8 nM in human IDO1/HEK293 cells, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic agent for targeting IDO1 in cancer treatment.
